Each product has a standard plain surface or may be specified with optional serrated or Algrip surfaces.
Finish options include bare steel, painted, hot dip galvanized, or specialty coatings. The steel bar grating load tables provide detailed specification information related to these products.

1) Bearing Bar (Load Bar) (mm): 20 x 3 to 100 x 9;the specification of "I-section" is 25 x 5 x 3, 32 x 5 x 3, 38 x 5 x 3, 40 x 5 x 3, 50 x 5 x 3, 50 x 7 x 4, 55 x 7 x 4, 60 x 7 x 4, 65 x 7 x 4, 70 x 7 x 4, 75 x 7 x 4, etc.

2) Bearing Bar Pitch (center to center): 12.5 to 100 mm etc, also be according to client's requirement and 30, 40, 60mm are recommended, America standard is available
3) Cross Bar Pitch (center to center): from18.5 to 101.6mm etc, also be according to client's requirement and 50, 100mm are recommended, America standard is available.

4) Steel Grating Material:Q235 Steel or stainless steel grating.
5) Steel Grating Surface Treatment: Untreated, Painting or Hot Dipped Galvanizing

Type "W" Heavy Duty Steel Floor Grating

Our most economical steel grating products, type "W" welded steel gratings are manufactured by forge welding rectangular bearing bars and drawn cross bars. This welding process provides a positive fused connection providing years of service under the most demanding conditions. Type 19-W-4 steel grating is our most popular product and is recommended for nearly all industrial flooring applications.

With nearly 80% open area, 19-W-4 allows for the easy passage of dirt, debris, snow, and liquids and is essentially self-cleaning. Type "W" gratings are available in close mesh, ADA conforming spacings 11-W-4 and 7-W-4 which are commonly used in public areas. When specifying type 11-W-4 for ADA applications, 3/16" thick bearing bars must be specified.
